Florida’s new Homeowners Association laws explained, How to find your HOA’s rules and regulations

In October 1st, 2023, Florida passed a new law protecting the hundreds of dollars HOA members pay each month. This law, called the Homeowners' Association Bill of Rights, requires HOA boards to deliver two-week notices to members before fining or suspending them for not complying with their rules and regulations. It also requires all notices for homeowner association board meetings to identify each agenda item for each meeting, and allows HOA members to designate an address other than their physical address for delivery of required notices.
